Established in 1996 and headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, we specialize in emergency department patient care through the placement of physicians in Kentucky’s rural area hospitals.

Inspire Medical is owned and managed by Dr. Jeff Jones, an orthopedic surgeon, and Molly C. Jones, an attorney and licensed engineer. We’re a member of the Health Enterprise Network, Greater Louisville Healthcare Advisory Board, and we’ve been recognized by Louisville as a High Impact Business.

Since our humble beginning with an initial management contract in Green County, Kentucky, the company has experienced steady growth. Now in our third decade, we continue to provide excellent service, quality physicians, and a unique management style to our hospitals. Dr. Jones uses a “hands-on” approach by being personally involved in each hospital and being available for issues or concerns 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

With nearly one-half of emergency department patients treated each year in our small county hospitals, the need for quality rural medicine is just as great as in Kentucky’s larger metropolitan areas. We believe the best service to our hospitals, the best care for Kentucky’s patients, and being able to offer the most rewarding practice opportunities, is not achieved through a multi-state group, but rather by focusing our talents in Kentucky.
