Inspire Medical

Cumberland County Hospital is a 25 bed critical access facility providing outpatient and inpatient services in the south central Kentucky town of Burkesville. The main hospital underwent a complete rebuild that was completed in late 2012. The medical staff consists of three Family Practice physicians and one Nurse Practitioner. The ER has six private rooms, and all films are read immediately by teleradiology. The physician’s call room is equipped with a bed, sofa, recliner, desk, computer, television, refrigerator, and private bathroom, and is located just down the hall from the ER doors. The cafeteria is open 8 am to 6 pm. Transfers are generally made to Glasgow or Bowling Green, with more serious patients going to UK or UL medical centers.
