Jane Todd Crawford Hospital is an older 23 bed facility located in Greensburg, KY about 80 miles south of Louisville. Nearby land has been set aside to build a new hospital beginning in 2014. Currently the medical staff has five family practice physicians and one full-time radiologist. The ER has three patient rooms with capability to expand to five rooms during busier parts of the day. The physician’s call room is located upstairs just over the ER, and is equipped with a bed, desk, internet, computer, television, refrigerator, and a private bathroom with a shower. The cafeteria is open 8 am to 6 pm. Films are read immediately by the radiologist or by teleradiology. Transfers are generally made to nearby Campbellsville, Glasgow, or Elizabethtown, with more serious cases going to Louisville.
